55 mill street is a ‘collective of thirteen individual, distinctive dealers’ who share a vision of the style of vintage clothes and household antiques they want to sell. People coming into the shop for the first time are always astonished by the huge variety of things on show in the nine rooms over three floors of the fine old building.
Nina who runs 55 mill street likes people coming into the shop to be excited by what they see as soon as they walk through the door, wanting to explore further.
“I think one of our main strengths is that all the dealers in the shop know what they’re talking about and two or three of them are always there. It’s fun working with them all because they tend to be such interesting, individual people, and I love our customers’ enjoyment of the shop especially when they’re happy about something they’ve found."
